Abstract
THESIS: The oft-noted relationship between art and religion is here explored with reference to college students. The similarities between these two disciplines suggest the possibility that art may be used as a substitute for religion because of the well-known problems connected with the teaching of religion in our pluralistic society. Dangers stemming from such a substitution are noted as well as the potentialities presented by the modern liturgical movement.
