Abstract
THESIS: New currents in theology have special relevance in Asia today where man is trapped in the strings of one established order or another and moves from the old slavery to the new. Christian missions cannot merely bring a new order of life, a new religion with its code of behavior and institutional organization. Christian missionaries need theological assurance that in Christ a great deliverance is possible, a deliverance from the old to the new being.
