Abstract
This article attempts to introduce readers to the field of university ethics. As distinct from academic ethics, which typically involves the study of the professional ethics of university faculty, covering such topics as cheating, letters of recommendation, dating students, and so forth, university ethics looks at the university as a whole and investigates the standards of ethics as they could appear across the campus in matters that pertain to student affairs, athletics, administration responsibilities, tuition prices, dormitory life, and so forth.
