Abstract
Some reactive monochlorotriazinyl dyes for nylon containing the pyridinic ring were found, and their dyeing rate was studied by means of the diffusion and rate coefficients in acid conditions and by means of the rate curves in alkaline conditions. A linear correlation was found between the diffusion and the rate coefficients. In order to clarify the stability of hydrolysis of such dyes as a function of the groups present in the molecule, the results were compared with others we found previously for similar dyes derived from α-naphthothiazole.
