Sorption isotherms of water vapor were determined for wool fabrics dyed with acid dyes of different chemical constitution but in two groups of comparable molecular weight. The effect of the degree of preliminary evacuation of the fabrics on the course of water sorption was estimated. The molecular weight of the dye changes the sorptive properties of fabrics towards water.
