Abstract
In Part I of this series, we developed a simplified theoretical mathematical model to predict streak and barré intensities in fabrics from yarn properties varying individ ually or collectively. In this paper, we successfully test the model predictions against subjective streak intensity ratings obtained on test fabrics in two colors in which dark and light bands were created by implanting ends varying in properties and number by predetermined amounts. The subjective ratings correlate well with model predictions in spite of a large number of variables and their interactions.
