A method for predicting six physical properties of 16 mil monofilament from four process conditions and polymer molecular weight is provided. The method consists of empirical predictor equations, and both graphical and computer techniques are given to aid in simultaneous solutions. Statistical data is supplied to indicate how well the equations fit the data.
