Abstract
An earlier theqretical expression for the flexural rigidity oftriaxially woven fabrics is presented and is shown to predict isotropy in bending when the triaxial fabric is . constructed from identical yarns in each set. Experimental results at different angles of orientation with respect to the fabric machine direction confirm the theoretical findings and provide more data concerning this class of fabrics.
