Abstract
Preliminary results of cooperative research on industrial continuous process scour ing to conserve energy and materials and to control pollution are discussed. Procedural changes are effective in reducing fuel, water, and detergent by about 25, 32, and 36% respectively, without adverse effects on the scoured wool. Grease recovery is also improved.
