Abstract
Regression analysis is used to estimate the time to spool strips (or bands) of fabric. Factors such as the fabric type, the material quality, and the amount of material ordered have previously created estimation difficulties. Improved estimation resulted from this analysis. In addition, this method contributed to the following: lower production costs, more accurate production time standards, and fewer late deliveries.
