The biophysical characteristics of perforated foam systems are presented in terms of experimentally determined values of insulation and moisture vapor permeance (MVP). The effect of windbreak motion on the moisture vapor transfer through such systems is discussed. A theoretical comparison among systems is given in terms of environmental range using the concept of moisture permeability index.
