Abstract
A symposium on the functional properties of clothing fabrics was held at the afternoon session of the annual meeting of Textile Research Institute, Inc. The sym posium was under the chairmanship of Dr. Milton Harris and the following is a brief review. A complete report of the addresses in which the speakers outlined the prob lems involved and the test methods devised for evaluating the properties of clothing fabrics—properties upon which we depend for comfort and protection, is being mailed to members of the Institute.
