Abstract
Possibilities for conserving supplies of the longer staple cottons and at the same time reducing operating costs in mills producing combed yarns are indicated by the results of tests conducted at the U. S. Department of Agriculture and reported by Malcolm E. Campbell 1 and John M. Cook. 2 The complete report, of which the follow ing is a condensation, is being published currently by the U. S. Department of Agriculture.
