Abstract
Reading of that part of Dr. Jones' paper relating to the development of a new textile product, impells the query as to whether there may not be other known facts and principles, now invisible to practical textile men because they are too close to their daily jobs, that may become the basis of additional new textile finishes or products?
Dr. Jones is professor of chemistry at Harvard University. The subject of this paper, which he presented recently before the Northeastern Section of the American Chemical Society, was "The Chemist's Answer to Technological Unemployment," and the author has kindly permitted abstracting of the economic portion.
