This paper proposes and discusses a new method of producing loop fancy yarns. First, we consider the fundamental parameters of loop fancy yams by determining the loop characteristics and final yam count. Second, we consider the effect of core tension and effect yarn over-feed on loop frequency and loop size (loop diameter) of loop fancy yams produced on a modified rotor spinning frame.
