L 'A uteur de cet article présente une série de données récoltées par observation participante au sein d'un groupe de guérison para-religieux. Trois topiques de base ont retenu l'attention pour décrire le processus de construction sociale de la réalité dans ce groupe: le pouvoir d'utiliser un langage «inventé», la conception du monde qui transparaît de l'utilisation de ce langage, l'impor tance de la combinaison des éléments précédents avec un rituel performatif.
