Abstract

1. Socio-anthropology of Islam, especially of Islam con sidered as a religion, is paradoxically a rather forgotten sector in our studies. In any case, the role played by Islam in the practice and the theory of the human and social sciences is far from being up to its world-wide importance and its dynamics of renewal.
