Abstract
In Simulation in the Service of Society in the May issue of SIMULATION I asked "Is Simulation a Possible Tool for Peace?" I traced appli cable simulation technology from WW II to the present, and concluded that Peace Gaming was worth a try. Before publishing the article, I sent the Introduction and Conclu sion to the Directors of the various MISS (McLeod Insti tute for Simulation Science) Centers plus some friends and colleagues, asking for comments.
