Abstract
EDITOR'S NOTE: The following are the abstracts of presentations given at the Conference on Discrete-event Simulation held in Houston, Texas, on June 11, 1982; the meeting was sponsored by the Midwestern Simulation Council and held in conjunction with the National Computer Conference (NCC). The program for the meeting was published in the June issue of Simulation.
