This paper is divided into three main sections which
1. Cover the historical significance of multivaria ble function generation to analog and hybrid computation
2. Describe a new high-speed Multivariable Function Generator (MVFG) for hybrid computation
3. Conclude with a discussion of possible applica tion of the MVFG for general computing use.
