Abstract
The theory and design of an analog nuclear reactor simulator for undergraduate nuclear engineering edu cation is presented. The simulator mimics the behavior of a 1000-MWe pressurized water reactor and its thermal-to-electrical energy conversion plant. In addition, several model parameters may be hand- selected,allowing for variations in dynamics and power levels and for accidents. Actual simulator results are presented and discussed.
