This paper describes the application of digital and hybrid simulation to the problem of deliberate unba lancing of production lines to obtain shorter produc tion times.
The paper demonstrates that hybrid simulation tech niques adequately match the accuracy of digital simulation of the same system.
The hybrid provided more flexibility with a reduction in cost.
