What appears to be the first case of a chromophobe-cell adenoma of the pituitary gland in an animal is described.
The tumour in a maiden bitch, aged 9 years, was associated with depression of the sexual functions for two years, atrophy of the ovaries and vulva, gross adiposity and progressive emaciation.
No abnormality was found in the skin and skeleton.
