Abstract
Evangelism is one of those ministries that is misunderstood, yet is needed for church growth. The church must continue to develop and evolve as our congregations change and restructure. It is important to have a clear definition of evangelism, seek guidance from God, provide training, and develop the message. This article utilizes several models of evangelism from an African-American perspective to develop a specific evangelistic style for the congregation.
