Abstract
This sermon was preached at Bay Leaf Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC, at the noon Good Friday service on April 6, 2007, as the final session of a three-part Holy Week series entitled “Why The Cross?” The other two presentations had been made earlier in the week by Don Garner's two brothers, Dan, an attorney (“Legal Aspects of The Trial of Jesus”) and Tim, a surgeon (“Physiological Aspects of the Death of Jesus”). Immediately following the sermon, the congregation shared the Lord's Supper.
