Abstract
Cupit traces the growing emphasis on evangelism and education among Baptists from William Carey to the formation of the Division of Evangelism and Education in the Baptist World Alliance and the supplying of literature, the coordination of evangelistic festivals, and the sponsoring of worship and theological conferences to enhance the outreach of developing work of Baptist churches throughout the world.
