Abstract
In “Engaging Gender Relations,” Professor MOLLY T. MARSHALL reviews and critiques George B. Eager's April 1914 Review & Expositor article, “The Feminist Movement,” and Linda McKinnish Bridges' Summer 1998 article, “Women in Church Leadership.” Marshall seeks to trace Review & Expositor's portrayal of and attitude toward the role of women in Christian life and leadership. She concludes that what Eager feared would happen is precisely what Bridges feared would not take place. Women must and will be included in the ministry of the church in the world.
