Abstract
The effectiveness of traditional text feedback has been questioned due to its single learning style and lack of engagement. To address these concerns, a multimodal turn in second language writing feedback has emerged, advocating the combination of various modes in feedback, known as multimodal feedback. To provide multimodal feedback, ScreenPal is a useful tool due to its versatilities. This technology review mainly discusses the use of the free version of ScreenPal in multimodal feedback, including its features, potential benefits and limitations.
