Abstract
In the article “Male Circumcision in the United States for the Prevention of HIV Infection and Other Adverse Health Outcomes: Report from a CDC Consultation,” which appeared in the Minority HIV Prevention supplement of Public Health Reports (PHR), an incorrect statement appeared on page 73, column 1, lines 18–22. It should have read “Invited participants included epidemiologists, researchers, health economists, ethicists, physicians, representatives of practitioner associations and community-based organizations, and individuals with a diversity of previously expressed viewpoints on the issue.”
In the article “‘There Wasn't a Lot of Comforts in Those Days’: African Americans, Public Health, and the 1918 Influenza Epidemic,” which appeared in the 1918–1919 Pandemic Influenza in the United States supplement of PHR, the affiliation for author Vanessa Northington Gamble was listed incorrectly. Her affiliation is with the Departments of University Professors, Health Policy, and American Studies at The George Washington University. PHR regrets the error.
