Abstract
Upon being asked to contribute a short piece for this fesischriff for Al Fraser, the question I found myself asking was, "What could I write that might catch the flavor of that good man whom we honor today?" I think that his values are these. He loves people. He believes in people and in their capacity to change. He holds that relationship is the fulcrum on which lives turn. I hope this true story catches the flavor of those values—values which have so enriched the lives of many of his "boys"—including me.
