Abstract
Chief Inspector Pleece was one of the three ex-Special Course Officers who first represented the Police Service at Universities when the Bramshill Scholarships were inaugurated in 1964. He was awarded a law degree in 1967, with First Class honours. After two years back in his Force, he reflects on the value of his years at University.
