Abstract
Speaking in public so often falls to police officers nowadays that we felt our readers would like to have the benefit of the advice of a distinguished practitioner of the art. Mr. Dorian Williams is known to many millions by his television commentaries: he is also known to many thousands of police officers, for he has lectured at the Police College ever since its foundation in 1948 and to police audiences all over the country. He thus writes with a unique familiarity with police needs.
