Abstract
“Visitors,” a mixed-media work by teacher Suzanne Kirschner, grew out of her grief and frustration about seeing those she cared about fighting cancer. “Home,” a painting by high school student Tenley Douglass, depicts a castle to celebrate the comfort she’s gotten from the Walt Disney World theme park.
