Abstract
Majorities of American give high marks to the community’s public schools and teachers for their handling of the coronavirus pandemic, according to the 2021 PDK poll. The poll, which surveyed a representative sample of 1,008 U.S. adults in June and July 2021, found that respondents have more positive feelings about their own local schools than about public schools in general, and they are confident in their schools’ ability to navigate the 2021-22 school year.
