Abstract
In this monthly advice column, Phyllis Fagell answers questions from educators who are frustrated with distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic — and with managing other people’s frustrations about it. A principal wants to know how to be supportive of teachers and staff who are unhappy with district-level decisions while also pushing them to do the work that must be done. A teacher is having trouble listening to parents’ complaints about distance learning, especially when she knows they’re right.
