Evidence in all its forms is a vitally important part of policy making. During tumultuous political times, evidence becomes even more important. But during the Trump administration, there’s little reason to believe that supporting the search for credible evidence will be valued. However, that leaves an opening for states to invest in developing evidence and an opportunity for everyone to dig into the troves of existing evidence about what’s known to work in schools.
