Abstract
There has been recent focused public attention on sports-caused brain injuries. Considering the possibility of severe injury to students, districts and employees should carefully reconsider their policies and practices on children’s accidental brain injury. Consistent with the return-to-play requirements in the statutes, when an injury occurs that may have caused brain trauma, schools should exercise caution.
