Abstract
The U.S. Constitution does not guarantee the right to an education for undocumented immigrants, but a string of U.S. Supreme Court decisions restricts states’ ability to deny resident children access to public education. But the landmark ruling in Plyler v. Doe, which pave the way for undocumented immigrant children to access public school, could be overturned or narrowed by the current U.S. Supreme Court.
