Abstract
This is a farmer's perspective of the issues for today and the future. IFAP is a worldwide organization representing 85 national organizations in 62 countries from both the developed and developing world. It represents hundreds of millions of farmers, both men and women, who till the soil and raise their animals under a myriad of different political and economic conditions. Many of these conditions are not always helpful in supporting their remarkable achievements which, even with all the problems and adversity that impact upon agriculture, feed more people with better food than ever before in world history.
