Footrot in sheep has spread alarmingly in Australia during the past few years, and in the course of an intensive campaign for its control notable advances have been made in techniques. Not only have mechanical cradles been devised for holding sheep while foot paring, thus saving time and labour, but several modern drugs have been found to be very efficient in treatment. Nevertheless, more research on this disease is still required.
