Abstract
Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen, liebe Versuchstierkundler,
Nachdem 2020 recht ruhig begonnen hat, haben wir uns alle aufgrund der aktuellen Pandemie Situation neuen Herausforderungen stellen müssen, mit ständig wechselnden Ausgangssituationen.
Daher freut es uns, dass wir eine Konstante bieten können – die Jahrestagung der GV-SOLAS findet statt – wenn auch in einem, den aktuellen Bedingungen, angepasstem Format. Am 16. und 17. September werden sowohl die wissenschaftlichen Vorträge der 58. Wissenschaftlichen Tagung der GV-SOLAS, als auch die Vorträge der 19. Fortbildungsveranstaltung der IGTP, in einem Online Meeting präsentiert. Durch den Live Chat hoffen wir auf die gewohnten regen Diskussionen zu den jeweiligen Vorträgen. Durch die Online Präsentation haben wir die Möglichkeit Ihnen die Vorträge 14 Tage lang zur Verfügung zu stellen, so dass Sie dieses Jahr alle Vorträge ansehen können.
Hier nur einige unserer Themenschwerpunkte: Primaten, Statistische Fragestellungen, Strategien zum Erkennen und Verbessern des Wohlbefindens der Maus und Spezielle Anforderungen einer Fischhaltung.

To begin with, 2020 seemed to be a year like any other, but due to the current pandemic, all of us have had to – and still have to – deal daily with new challenges.
We are pleased to be able to inform you that we can offer something which is a constant: the annual meeting of the GV-SOLAS will take place, in a format adapted to the actual situation. On 16 and 17 September, all scientific talks of the 58th Annual Meeting of the Society for Laboratory Animal Science GV-SOLAS, as well as the talks of the 19th Advanced Training Course of the IGTP, will be presented as an online meeting. A live chat tool will ensure that the usual active discussions of the topics can continue. In addition, due to the online presentation, every single talk will be available for all registered participants for up to 14 days if they wish to see all of the talks given.
