Objective and Importance of organizing the conference

8th International conference of Laboratory Animal Scientist’s Association (LASA), India on “Recent Advances in 3R’s and Laboratory Animal Science”, is being jointly organized by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), CSIR- Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology (IGIB) and National Institute of Biologicals (NIB) in Delhi on 24th to 26th November 2017. Eminent Scientists from India and abroad will deliver lectures in the area of Laboratory animal science and it would be a good platform for the young researchers and students to interact and expand their area of knowledge.

This event will include the participation of renowned keynote speakers, oral presentations and poster sessions related to the theme of the conference i.e. 3R’s and Laboratory Animal Science. We are expecting around 350–400 delegates to attend the event, mainly scientists and students from various research and education institutes in India who are involved in experimental research and also from the CRO’s, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry along with eminent international speakers.

The scientific sessions of the conference include invited lectures, research papers and poster presentations from various Scientists in the field of lab animal sciences across the globe. This conference would provide a platform to our students and scientists to expand their knowledge in the field of laboratory animal science and 3R’s, to interact with eminent scientists from across the globe and may also lead to fruitful collaborations for advancement of science.
