Abstract

Laboratory Animals would like to announce and remind its subscribers and readers that it publishes case reports or case series which report one of the following:
A new and/or emerging disease A new association or variation in a disease process An unreported or unusual adverse drug reaction An unexpected or unusual presentation of a common problem or an unexpected event in the course of observing or treating an experimental animal that has not been previously reported Findings that shed new light on the possible pathogenesis of a disease or an adverse effect A case which could be used as a teaching exercise in deductive reasoning and clinicopathological correlation and/or a practical lesson for the investigation and/or management of similar cases
The word count for such reports should not exceed 3000 including the abstract, whose word count should not exceed 250 words. The report can include not more than 4 displays (tables and/or figures) and up to 30 references.
