Abstract
Presents an overview of multiple personality disorder (MPD) with specific reference to its significance for pastoral counselors. Discusses the history, prevalence, and etiology of MPD and identifies the clinical symptoms and indicators of the disorder. Suggests that pastoral counselors have an indispensable role to play in the identification and care of persons with multiplicity.
