Discusses the unique role pastoral counseling has to play in addressing the relationships among personal, social, and ecological brokenness. Presents transformative feminism as a foundation for the development of an ecological theory and practice of pastoral counseling. Stresses the importance of place to human identity, well-being, and authentic community.
