Abstract
Discusses the complexity and depthful nature of revenge and forgiveness and how they may be recognized and understood in religious and clinical contexts. Notes how both psychotherapists and pastoral counselors need to deal with the dynamics of revenge and forgiveness although their approaches may differ given the realities of transference and countertransference phenomena.
