Abstract
Raises theological issues from the context of pastoral responses to child sexual abuse. Asks, What view of the human self can account for the evil of child sexual abuse? What is wrong in society and church that child sexual abuse is unacknowledged and so badly handled? Is there an ambiguity in God that makes such evil so widespread? Opines that these and other questions may provoke new thinking for the discipline of Pastoral Theology.
