Abstract
Presents a definition and context for pastoral research in terms of the modules of being-doing, meaning-meaninglcssness, related-separation, and body-mind. Notes seven assumptions behind the selection of methods used for research purposes and elaborates on operations of analysis and interpretation of research results. Offers an illustration of pastoral research following the model suggested.
