Abstract
Offers philosophical, theological, and biblical reflections on the organic brain damaged patient and outlines the pastoral care of them in terms of confession/acknowledgement, proclaiming/advocacy, listening/learning, worship/encouragement of faith, maintaining a moral point of view without condemnation, praying/hoping, and wise pastoring throughout life. Makes a plea for the availability of more information on the BDP in the pastoral care literature and in CPE programs.
