Selected Social Psychologica Models for Analyzing Buyers

Abstract

Philip Kotler, in an oft-quoted article, presented five classic behavioral theorists—Marshall, Pavlov, Freud, Veblen, and Hobbes—and put them in the context of marketing. This article extends his approach by examining four very significant contemporary social psychological theories and their implications for marketing.
